Beth

has been at her job for 3 years; after being denied a promotion at year 2, she
watches as her male colleague is promoted 6 months after he is hired. When asked
about this discrepancy, she is told she is being a “bit pushy” given her already tenuous
work performance. However, Beth’s previous performance evals have all been
outstanding and she has exceeded all work deliverables. She is due for a new
performance eval in the coming weeks. She is not sure how to proceed.
